Larry Woodley, also known as “Subway” Larry is an American musician singer songwriter. He plays guitar piano, ukulele, and percussion. He incorporates elements of Blues, Soul, Jazz,
Rock, Gospel, Dance, Funk, and Folk music into his work and performance.
Larry was born in Boston Massachusetts. As a child he became interested in the differences of music. His grandfather was a jazz saxophonist, his uncle sang Doo Wop with his group, great
grand parents were gospel singers, and at home he heard all of the above. As well, his mother took him to his first live music concert at Symphony Hall in Boston to hear the Great Boston Symphony orchestra. This developed his appreciation for the Classical music and composers
